The Rock Xtreme 840 laptops, meanwhile, start at £1,699 for the standard Intel Core 2 Duo model and £2,229 for the Intel Core 2 Quad SLI version which has 2GB of nVidia graphics memory.

The Xtreme 840 models have a 1920x1080 full HD resolution on an 18.4in screen. The vast display has a true 16:10 aspect ratio and, as with the Xtreme 740 models, there's up to 1.5TB of onboard storage.
