Shuttle X 500TA all-in-one PC

Shuttle has joinh in the all-in-one PC crew and has unveiled the X 500TA all-in-one PC, which is just 36mm thick.

Featuring an Intel Atom 330 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, the X 5000TA comes with a touch-sensitive 15.6in 1,366x768 display.

The all-in-one PC features a white gloss casing with chrome accents and users will also benefit from a 1.3Mp webcam, integrated stereo speakers and 802.11 b/g and n Wi-Fi connectivity.

Running Windows Vista Home basic, the X500TA also comes with a chromed anti-slip pedestal that can be rotated upwards by 180 degrees to create a carrying handle for the PC.

"Compact, power-saving All-in-One-PCs open up new and interesting application areas whether as a second PC for fast internet access, as part of a home automation system, for IP/videotelephony or for the next generation to obtain their first computer experiences", says Tom Seiffert, head of marketing and PR at Shuttle.
