eMachines EZ1600 all-in-one PC

Acer has launched an all-in-one PC under its consumer eMachines brand. The eMachines EZ1600 runs off a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, has a 160GB hard disk drive, integrated Intel 945 graphics and a DVD-RW drive.

All this is hidden within the EZ1600's slimline 18.5in flatpanel screen. Sporting a native resolution of 1,080x720 and with an entertainment-friendly 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio (ideal for DVD viewing), the all-in-one PC is being marketed as an ideal space-saving machine for use in a study or student bedroom. It comes with Wi-Fi and a multi-card reader.

Pricing and exact launch dates for the UK have yet to be announced.
