Medion Akoya P7300D desktop PC

Medion has unveiled the Akoya P7300D - a desktop PC powered by Intel's Core 2 quad-core Q8200 processor, which costs under £500.

The Akoya P7300D comes with 4GB RAM, a 1TB hard drive and an nVidia GeForce 9600GT graphics card.

Running the 64-bit edition of Windows Vista Home Premium, the desktop PC also features a dual-layer DVD rewriter drive and a triple TV tuner that allows users to watch and record analogue, DVB-T or DVB-S television broadcasts. The Medion Akoya P7300D also offers Wi-Fi connectivity, an eSATA drive, S-Video in and two USB 2.0 ports.

It comes bundled with a mouse, keyboard and a software pack that includes Medion Home Cinema Suite, Nero Burning ROM 8 Essentials, Microsoft Works 9.0, Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 trial edition, CorelDraw Essentials 3 a free 90-day trial of BullGuard Internet Security.
