Intel today announced the 4th-generation of its Core processor series. The quad core chips, previously code-named 'Haswell' offer better performance and significantly reduced power consumption, and will be available in PCs, laptops and tablets from June 4.

Acer launches world's first 27in full-HD 3D monitor
Acer has launched an innovative new monitor, which it claims is the world’s first 27in full-HD (1920x1080-pixel) 3D screen. An integrated infrared emitter lets the HN274H communicate with the supplied pair of nVidia 3D glasses, or a set-top box or Blu-ray player hooked up via HDMI.
