TerraTec has launched the Noxon iRadio Cube internet radio. The £169 radio plays FM radio stations too.

Despite being named the iRadio Cube, the internet radio measures a slightly unequal 130x140x130mm and weighs 1.2kg. The iRadio Cube can be used anywhere within range of your Wi-Fi connection but needs to be powered from the mains (some internet radios can also be used as portable Wi-Fi units).

TerraTec's Noxon iRadio Cube can access any of the 11,000 internet radio stations. Its three speakers offer a combined output of 16 Watts. A control wheel on the front of the device can be used to search and choose stations to listen to. Favourite stations can be set for quick access.

The device allows users to stream music stored on their PC through its speakers. There's also a clock, sleep timer and alarm with a selection of tones. The iRado Cube comes bundled with a remote control and purchasers receive a month-long free trial of the Napster music service. The Napster service lets users listen to and download music from a catalogue of more than six million tracks in its music archive on up to three computers - without having to pay a per-song fee.

Priced at £169, the Noxon iRadio Cube will be available this month.
