gear4 has unveiled two new iPod speaker docks with built-in CD players.
The gear4 HP-400 works with all generations of iPod, has an FM/MW radio that can store 30 station presets and a five-setting built-in equaliser. The device also has a 12 or 24-hour clock with alarm.
The HP-400's CD player has a track repeat feature and can be queued up to repeat an entire CD or for random play. The player has a touch-sensitive backlit buttons that run vertically either side of a docked iPod.
The HP-400 also comes bundled with a remote control and costs £109.99.
Also new to the gear4 stable is the CDB-500 - a boombox-style device that measures 288x340x439mm. As well as an iPod dock that will charge the device while also allowing users to listening to its content through its speakers, the CDB-500 also comes with a top-loading CD player with a track-programming function.
Other features include an LCD display, BassBoost technology and FM/MW radio. The CDB-500 is priced at £69.99.
Both devices will be available from the gear4 online store from the end of June.
