Up to 40 Freeview TV channels can be received, depending on local availability and the strength of the signal. Digital radio stations can also be enjoyed. Video stored as AVI (Mpeg 1, 2 or 4) and MP3 and WAV music files can be played.
Secure Digital and MMC (MultiMedia Card) flash memory cards can be used and photos, music and video can also be played off a USB stick attached to the August player.
The 150g player should last for around three hours when playing video and running off battery power, while 10 hours of music can be played before a recharge is required. It is also possible to hook up the August DTV350C portable player to an external screen such as a TV. The player has its own speaker as well as an earphone jack.
