
The all-in-one HD music streamer
Olive Media has announced its Olive One HD music streaming player.
The firm is calling the Olive One the first all-in-one high definition (HD) music player. Olive will launch the One through the IndieGoGo crowdfunding platform next summer with a price of $399. See also: Use Google Music to listen to your music everywhere.
Dr. Oliver Bergmann, co-founder and CEO of Olive, said: "Olive One brings order and refinement to the music side of life. Those who care about quality, style and most of all music, will want to have this first-ever all-in-one HD music player."
It offers a 32-bit/384kHz DAC by Burr-Brown and dual HD amplifiers. Music can be accesses via the touchscreen or free apps for iPhone, iPad or Android. Wireless technology includes Bluetooth 4.0 and dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi with support for Wi-Fi Direct, Miracast and DLNA standards.
The Olive One will also be available with a hard drive built-in making it a personal cloud device. A 1TB model will cost $499 and 2TB will set you back $599.
