Stream your iTunes library over Wi-Fi

Libratone has announced a new upright speaker that makes use of the AirPlay Wi-Fi streaming feature on Macs to deliver audio and podcasts from an iTunes library to anywhere within network range. The Libratone Live AirPlay speaker will go onsale in the UK from September and will cost £599. 

The Libratone Live AirPlay speaker has an output capability of up to 150 Watt and has five dedicated amplifiers. Although housed in the single unit, the Libratone speaker's upright, triangular shape always the speaker to deliver room-filling audio. Libratone says the speaker creates a "room-filling soundscape with the tweeters and midrange drivers dispersing 360-degree sound".

The Libratone Live AirPlay speaker will be available in the UK from September from the Apple Store and will cost £599 inc VAT.
