Altec Lansing's new Muzx Ultra earphones help block out background noise using a technology initially developed for hearing aids.

The Muzx Ultra earphones feature a specially designed cord that help reduce friction noise and also comes with inline controls that allow iPhone/iPod users to take calls or pause and skip tracks without having to use the controls on the device itself.

Four different-sized silicon flanges that come with the earbuds to ensure a perfect fit, no matter how big or small your ears.

"Consumers today see their music as part of themselves: an inseparable element of their identity and we believe music becomes an extended part of their DNA – completely unique. The new Muzx earphones are designed to be comfortable, well balanced and have the best natural sound," said Adrian Bedggood, from Altec Lansing.

The sleek black earbuds are priced at £79.99 and available now.
