Orbitsound T4 Radiopod

Orbitsound is adding to its existing line-up of speakers and iPod accessories with the launch of three new audio accessories.

The Orbitsound T4 Radiopod looks to be the most interesting of the new range. It's a wireless digital radio and iPod dock that can stream internet radio stations and podcasts over Wi-Fi. The player also supports both DAB and DAB+ digital radio broadcasts. Each mode of play has 10 station presets.

The first such device audio specialist Orbitsound has produced, the T4 Radiopod is designed to free the listener from having to be sat in front of their PC or laptop in order to enjoy web radio or podcasts.

'The popularity of digital and internet radio really has exploded in the last few years,' explains Ted Fletcher, founder of Orbitsound and creator of its unique spatial sound technology. 'But while many of us have got used to finding and listening to podcasts, we often hear them through the inferior speakers of our desktop and laptop computers. With the T4 Radiopod, digital stations and podcasts get the great sound quality they deserve, alongside a neat and stylish design.'

As well as its powerful speaker and iPod dock, the T4 Radiopod has an alarm with snooze. It is set to go osale this summer and will cost £179.99. For more information see www.orbitsound.com
