Xmi X-Mini MAX II capsule speakers

The X-Mini MAX II is rather a mouthful but is the name Xmi has given to its latest laptop portable speaker set. Although it looks like a single unit, the X-Mini MAX II is actually a pair of 2.5 Watt speakers held together magnetically. When not in use they pair up and form a sleek capsule. To separate the speakers, just twist and pull apart.

The £32 speakers are charged via a USB port on a laptop and will then last for up to 12 hours (depending on how loud you crank up the volume) before needing to be recharged. A 'buddy jack' allows other second-generation X-Mini speakers to be connected to the X-Mini MAX II to create a "daisy chain" of speakers.

The Xmi X-Mini MAX II is available from a range of online retailers including Amazon.
