Priced at £44, the Wi-Fi speaker system has two 2.4 Watt speakers housed in a single unit and comes with a USB wireless dongle that you plug in to a PC or laptop. The Wi-Fi setup enables music or a movie soundtrack to be pumped out from as far away as 40 metres from the computer.

The Mimi speaker itself runs off rechargable lithium-ion batteries. These can be recharged via a USB port.The speaker measures just 80x80x75mm and can easily be used as a portable speaker too.

The Veho Mimi Wi-Fi speaker system is available through online retailers such as CCL and Amazon for around £39.
