PURE Digital Siesta Flow DAB/internet radio

Pure Digital has unveiled five new DAB radios including the £99 Siesta Flow DAB internet radio.

Just like the Evoke Flow, launched last year, the Flow offers access to internet radio stations, podcasts and listen again content via a Wi-Fi connection.

The £99 DAB radio also features 365 different alarm tones - one for every day of the year, which can be downloaded from Pure's online portal The Lounge.

An audio streaming feature allows users to enjoy music and other audio content stored on their PC through the device's speaker. A useful innovation is the PURE PowerPort - a USB connection that allows users to charge any USB device from the DAB radio.

PURE has also announced the £89 Siesta iDock DAB and FM radio. This charges an iPod or iPhone while the user enjoys music stored on the digital audio player through the Siesta iDock's speaker.

The Siesta iDock also has a PURE PowerPort, plus an auto-dimming display, 15 DAB/FM presets, four alarms and a sleep-timer and snooze function.

The two new Siesta DAB radios are joined by the Elan II - a £99 portable DAB and FM radio that allows users to pause and rewind DAB radio broadcasts as well as featuring a USB input for an iPod or MP3 so users can enjoy tracks stored on the device's through the Elan II's speaker.

Two new DAB radio's in Pure's Chronos series complete the line-up. The £99 Chronos iDock Series II is a stereo DAB/FM clock radio with iPod and iPhone dock, while the Chronos CD Series II is a stereo DAB/FM clock radio with CD player. Both devices feature the Pure PowerPort.

The five new Pure DAB radios will be available in the UK in time for Christmas.
