gear4 KRG-D50 DAB iPod dock

gear4 KRG-D50 DAB iPod dockgear4 has unveiled the KRG-D50, a DAB and FM radio that also allows users to charge and listen to content stored on their iPod.

The top of the unit, which comes in any colour as long as it's black, has a docking cradle that fits all generations of iPod Touch, iPod nano and iPod Classic. Music and podcasts stored on the portable player can then be played back via the KRG-D50's built-in speaker.

The gear4 KRG-D50's 12- or 24-hour alarm clock can be set to wake you with a buzzer, the radio or a track from the docked iPod. Although primiarily designed for use with apple iPod players, the device can also play content from any other brand of MP3 player. These can be attached using an audio line-in port.

Priced at £79.99, the KRG-D50 will be available from the gear4 store from the end of June.
