Vivitek's Qumi LED pocket projector is capable of displaying 3D video at 1920x720p resolution and 300 Ansi lumens. It can use a smartphone, tablet or laptop as a source and creates a display up to 90ins across from a distance of between 1m and 3m. It has a contrast ratio of 2500:1 and weighs 617g

Toshiba launches world's first glasses-free 3D laptop
Toshiba has unveiled the world’s first glasses-free 3D laptop. The Qosmio F750 3D is a 15.6in screen Windows 7 laptop that can display 3D images that can be viewed without the need for special 3D glasses. It will go onsale in the UK from early August with an expected RRP of £1,300 including VAT.

LG Optimus 3D to launch in the UK tomorrow
The world's first 3D phone is coming to the UK tomorrow. The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy will exclusively offer the LG Optimus 3D from Friday July 1. It will roll out to the rest of the UK on July 6.

Acer launches world's first 27in full-HD 3D monitor
Acer has launched an innovative new monitor, which it claims is the world’s first 27in full-HD (1920x1080-pixel) 3D screen. An integrated infrared emitter lets the HN274H communicate with the supplied pair of nVidia 3D glasses, or a set-top box or Blu-ray player hooked up via HDMI.
