Microsoft is preparing to launch its latest operating system so here's how to get live coverage of the Windows 8 event.

The event will start at 4:15pm UK time today and you can watch live updated online. Microsoft will be speaking on its latest operating system for PCs and tablets, Windows 8. Today Mircrosoft will also hold a Surface launch event.

Both of which will go on sale tomorrow. Currys and PC World are holding a midnight launch for Windows 8 tonight at their Tottenham Court Road store in London. See also: Microsoft Surface RT vs Apple iPad comparison review.
