HELPROOM ANSWER Mysterious crashes can have any number of causes and are often difficult to diagnose, especially without more specific details of your PC and software configuration.

A good starting point is Microsoft's self-help page. You'll be asked a series of short questions, after which it will attempt to rectify your problem.

This troubleshooter works only for versions of Internet Explorer up to and including 8.0. If you aren't running Internet Explorer 9 and this troubleshooter can't solve your problem, try upgrading Internet Explorer.
