QUESTION My Windows 7 laptop has icons for both 32bit and 64bit Microsoft Internet Explorer. I have no problems using the 32bit version, but the 64bit software wants to install Adobe Flash Player every time I visit a news site. If I click on the yellow bar at the top of the window and accept the installation, nothing happens. I’m confused about 64bit and its benefits if it won’t work with some websites. John G Procter

HELPROOM ANSWER Adobe has yet to release a 64bit version of Flash Player for use with Internet Explorer. Until it does, you should stick to using the 32bit browser. We expect the software release to coincide with Flash Player 10.1; keep an eye on this page for the latest information.
