Keep Flickr updated with Foldr Monitr
Step 1. Staying current with your Flickr uploads can be a struggle, especially if your home web connection doesn’t have the bandwidth to handle big Jpeg files. You can fix this with Foldr Monitr, which can watch a directory for images and automatically upload them to your Flickr account.
Step 2. Download Foldr Monitr and run the Setup.exe file. You’ll need to enter your Flickr account information and authenticate it at flickr.com. Click Browse to specify a folder to watch and tick the Include Subfolders box. You can set Flickr Monitr to upload your photos to sets according to subfolder name in the Options menu.
Step 3. Once set up, a Foldr Monitr icon appears in your system tray while the application uploads images to Flickr in the background. If you want it to stick to times when you aren’t using your web connection, set up a task in the Task Scheduler that runs at night or during work hours.
Step 4. You can also incorporate Foldr Monitr into other workflows. If you use Photoshop Elements, you can batch-process a folder of images by selecting Process Multiple Files from the File menu. Simply define what you want Elements to do and use the folder that Foldr Monitr is watching as the destination.
