HELPROOM ANSWER Tmonitor is part of the Sony Ericsson PC Companion application. If it’s been damaged during the removal of Hamster, you should uninstall it and then reinstall the latest version from Sony Ericsson.

You can also use Msconfig. Type msconfig into the Start menu Search box and press Enter. Select the Startup tab and find and deselect Tmonitor.exe in the list. Click Apply and reboot.

Arthur said: I upgraded from XP to Windoze 7 using the recommended procedure I now find many of my files have been duplicated by identical copies with 1 at the end of the filename not the extensionIs there any good way to remove these duplicates as they occupy over 15 GB of disc space
