How to install Adobe Contribute

Ensure the software is patched, and log in

QUESTION Can you help me get rid of the ‘Open’ box that has appeared in the centre of my monitor’s screen? It appeared immediately after I had tried to open Adobe Contribute 4.0. Audrey Forgham

HELPROOM ANSWER Contribute is trying to initialise itself and is asking for your login credentials in the form of a preset password. If you click ‘Open’, it will then ask you for the password and website connection details. If you haven’t got the login details, you should uninstall the program via the Add/Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista/Windows 7) Control Panel.

If you do want to use Contribute and have the necessary login details, however, ensure that the software is fully patched.
