How to fix corrupt system files

What to do when jpegs won't delete

QUESTION I'm unable to access the right-click menu to delete Jpeg photos in Windows XP, although it works with other file formats. A second Administrator account doesn't suffer from the same problem. Hugh McCrone

HELPROOM ANSWER This could be caused by corrupt system files. Click Start, Run, type cmd and press Enter. When the command prompt appears, type sfc /scannow and press Enter. Windows will check your files for errors and fix them.
