How to run QuickBasic programs in Windows 7

What to do when you upgrade from DOS to Win7

QUESTION I've decided to replace my Windows 98 PC with a Windows 7 machine, but I'm concerned about transferring Microsoft's QuickBasic suite, which I frequently use. In Windows 7 I'll have to reboot in DOS each time I want to use any of these programs. Is converting to VisualBasic the only solution? Frank Courtney

HELPROOM ANSWER You could use Visual Basic, but you might prefer to use the free DOSBox to run QuickBasic programs in Window 7 in an emulated DOS environment.
