HELPROOM ANSWER I suspect you may have a full deleted items bin, or your inbox is near its 2GB limit. Try emptying the Outlook Express Recycle bin. Also consider compacting the messages in your inbox (Tools, Options, Maintenance, Clean Up Now, Compact).

If this has no effect, your inbox may be corrupt. Paid-for tools are available that will delete and then recreate your inbox; if you'd prefer to fix the problem by yourself, follow the instructions given here.
