4. Once Firefox has restarted, go to Tools, Add-ons. Click the button marked Themes and browse through the skins you’ve downloaded. When you find the one you want, click Use Theme to activate it and change the way Firefox looks. Alternatively, hit Uninstall to remove a theme you no longer require.

5. You’ll have to restart Firefox yet again to see the changes. The next time the browser starts up, the new theme’s colour schemes, buttons, background images and other effects will be displayed. The files containing themes are small, so feel free to download several and experiment.

6. Developers may update their themes to add new graphics or fix bugs. To check whether any of your themes have been updated, go to Tools, Add-ons, Themes. Select the one you want to check and click Find Updates – any that are available can be downloaded and saved as in step 3.
