How-Tos: Make DVDs as holiday gifts
Apple has almost entirely abandoned DVDs—remember, those shiny discs that no longer fit into many modern Macs? But despite the shift to online photo and video services, not everyone is capable of streaming media over the Internet. Besides, friends and family members can’t unwrap a pipeline of bits and bytes.

How-Tos: Mac 101: Your input devices
For the last few weeks I've casually thrown around phrases like "hover your cursor over," "press the Command key," and "swipe to the side on your trackpad." One study from Brother found that workers waste, on average, 76 hours per person per year looking for misplaced items on their desks. And years ago, NEC-Mitsubishi said that cluttered desks can cause mental and physical stress, both as a result of frustration with the mess and owing to poor posture while working around all the junk.

How-Tos: How to Enhance Your Router With Open-Source Firmware
