A great way to jazz up your MySpace page is to add a slideshow of images. First, open the pictures you want to use in your photo editor. Change the width of each to 20cm and the resolution to 72dpi. You may need to ensure the colour mode is a more screen-friendly RGB.
Now head over to Slide.com to sign up for a free account. Start an album, selecting the resized images and uploading them in turn. Use the simple interface to swap the pictures around until they are arranged in an order that you’re happy with – it’s a straightforward drag-and-drop affair.
There are several styles of slideshow to choose from. However, a general rule is that less is more – we’d recommend the straightforward ‘sliding’ style rather than a showy star fade. You can also change the theme, skin (surround) and size of the frames. Hit Save when you’re ready.
Copy the slideshow code then go back to MySpace.com and select Edit profile. Paste the code into one of the profile sections. We’d suggest adding large items to one of the lefthand sections to balance things up, since your friends’ icons and comments will rapidly fill up the righthand side. J
