Web browsers keep a record of your browsing history to make it easier for your to find pages that you have looked at before, but have forgotten the name of the URL. The downside to this is that privacy isn't catered for here, so anyone who use the same computer as you can easily see exactly what web pages you have been looking out. How to delete browsing history on Chrome
The firs thing you are going to need to do is open Chrome and then click of the three horizontal lines icon, located in the top right hand side of the browser window. See also: Stop WhatsApp saving photos on iPhone.
This step it very easy, all you have to do is select Settings from the list that appears once you click on the three horizontal lines icon.
On the left hand side of the Chrome browser you will see a column with the options History, Extensions Settings and Help listed. Select History.You will now see a list of all of your browsing history. To delete all browsing history, simply click on the Clear browsing data… button.
You can also delete a single page from your browsing history by locating it and clicking on the drop down arrow to the right of its title and then selecting the Remove from history option.
From here a new window will appear with a checklist of exactly what data you want to clear. Make sure that the first option Clear browsing history has a tick next to it and then press the Clear browsing data button found in the bottom right of the new panel.
If you want to completely clean your browser of cookies, saved passwords, Autofill data and download history, simply check all of the boxes and press the Clear browsing data button.
