How to add Favourites on iPlayer

Make light-work of finding your favourite TV shows

The BBC's online catch-up TV service, iPlayer, allows web users to watch programmes that have already been broadcast on their PC for up to 30 days after their first transmission

However, rather than go trawling through the iPlayer listings every day to find your programmes you like, you can use the Favourites function, which will automatically add them to your list when they become available. Here's how to use the function.

Step one
Visit the iPlayer home page and select the programme you want to add to favourites.

Step two
Scroll down top underneath the programme window and click the Favourite button on the left-hand side. The programme, plus any other episodes currently available will be added to your Favourites list.

Step three
Click Manage in the top right-hand corner of the window to see all of the episodes that have been stored. Use the arrow on the left-hand side of the programme name to expand and chose the episode you want to watch.
