How to view HTML emails in Windows Live Mail

Avoid having to forward messages

QUESTION I’m running Live Mail 2011 on my Windows 7 computer. I receive email in plain text format by default, and open HTML messages only from senders I trust. In Live Mail I must click a large ‘E’ symbol to access the HTML version, but with some messages this appears only when I click the Reply button. How can I get around this? Harry Leeming

HELPROOM ANSWER Try adding the sender (or their domain) to your safe senders list, Harry.

Simply right-click an email from the sender you wish to add to your safe list, then select Junk email, ‘Add sender to safe sender list’. This will ensure that any subsequent messages you receive from that sender display all content.
