Del.icio.us offers a useful service where you choose certain tags to subscribe to (we’ve gone for recipes again) and recent bookmarks containing any of those tags will be collected together on your ‘subscriptions’ page. You can choose to subscribe to a tag only when bookmarked by a particular user.
It’s called social bookmarking for a reason, and the default settings will enable other users to view your list of linked pages. If you’d prefer to make one private, go to your bookmarks and click edit next to the link. Tick ‘do not share’, then hit save. Imported links (see below), however, are private by default. J
