If you share your Android smartphone or tablet with someone, then you might want to add multiple Google accounts to your device. Once you've done this, certain devices will let you unlock your smartphone or tablet and present you with a home screen that is customised to each individual Google ID. (See also How to root an Android device)
You can even use the Google Play store with multiple accounts, meaning you can pay for apps and media downloads from different Google accounts.
How to change Google ID on an Android Smartphone or Tablet
Go to Settings and scroll down to the bottom of the listed Accounts until you see the option Add account.
From here you see a list of the available accounts, you will need to select the Google Account.
You will now be presented with the option of added an existing Google Account or creating a new one.
Simply sign in to an exciting Google account or create a new one. After you have done this you will need to select what data you want synced with the Android device. Deselect as appropriate.
How to download Android Apps from a different Google account
Now that you have added a new account to your Android device you can down apps and media content from an additional Google account. All you need to do is open the Google play Store on your Android smartphone or tablet and tap on the three vertical dots located in the top left of the Play store and swap Google Accounts. Easy.
