There are two things you need to do to completely delete emails in Gmail on Android. The first thing you need to do is delete them from the inbox (obviously), the next is locate the Gmail Bin and then remove the email from that too. Step one

The first thing you need to do is open the Gmail app on your Android smartphone or tablet, find the email(s) you want to completely remove and delete it from your inbox. Take a look at Google Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release date and features.

Step two

Next you need to swipe in from the left side of the screen to the middle of the screen. You will then see a list of Gmail folders take over the majority of the screen; scroll down and select the folder Bin.

Step three

Once you’re in the Bin folder you simply need to select the icon that is made up of three vertical dots (found in the top right of the screen). From here all you need to do is select the Empty Trash option and then hit Delete in the new windows.
