What was announced at the Bethesda E3 2016 press conference

There was a bunch of announcements made during the event, with Dishonored 2 being centre stage. The new game that was teased last year now featured more cinematic and a look into the beautiful custom-engine Dishonored 2 game. The game comes out on 11 November 2016 - If you want more details about this beautifully crafted game, head over to our dedicated article: Dishonored 2 UK release date, pre-orders, pricing, gameplay and trailers.

There was also the re-launch of Quake. The game takes on from what it was previously, but now brings class-based gameplay, which many have deemed it as the Doom of Quake (pun intended). Time can only tell, but we hope that it lives up to its original game-format. More details are to come at QuakeCon 2016, which is set to take place in August.

Fallout 4 also got some loving, with a DLC named 'Nuka World' that brings a few new features and areas to the game, including the very cool Vault-Tec Workshop that allows you to create your own Vault! The DLC is set to come out in August 2016.

Speaking of Fallout 4, it's coming in VR in 2017. Yes that's right, with the HTC Vive you will be able to explore the vaults yourself, as if you had the Pip-Boy on your arm - epic!

Doom gets its first DLC called Unto The Evil, that brings new multiplayer maps alongside a new weapon, player, equipment and hack modules. There was no release date, but we expect it to come out this summer.

Bethesda also announced a reboot of the Prey franchise. The game looks compltely different from the original and has many guessing what it will involve. The game is set to launch in 2017.

Remember Oblivion? Remember the Dark Brotherhood, and the good times you had? Well, you're in luck. Elder Scrolls Online Dark Brotherhood DLC is coming out on 14 June 2016, allowing you to take on new missions and stay in the shadows.

To finish, Skyrim Special Edition was announced. This is a remastered version of Skyrim set for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 28 October 2016. There was also an interesting announcement by Bethesda, with One Tamriel, new content for Skyrim, making all characters auto levelled and being able to explore the new world with no level restrictions.
