How to create music playlists in Windows Media Player

Drag and drop the tracks you want

Windows has its own intergrated media player that allows you to listen to music stored on your PC. As well as allowing you to listen to individual tracks or albums, you can also create playlists that contain the tracks you want and will then play continusley. Here's how to create a playlist in Windows Media Player.

Step one
Start by opening the Start menu and selecting Windows Media Player from the list of programs.

Step two
Select Create playlist from the top left-hand corner of the Windows Media Player window. A new playlist will appear in the far left-hand side of the window. Begin typing to give the playlist a name.

Step three
Now select Music to browse tracks in your library and then drag and drop them onto your playlist.

Step four
To begin listening to your playlist, simply click on the playlist and press the play button at the bottom of the Windows Media Player window.
