How to re-watch the iPhone 7 launch live video stream

The Apple Event took place at 6pm UK time on 7 September 2016. You can re-watch the stream at the top of this page, and follow our real-time coverage in our live blog below. Plus: scroll down to see what Apple announced at its September event.

This will also be handy for those who missed it first time around: not everyone can just go and watch the live video stream freely because live streaming uses Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology

To wartch live you need to have iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. Streaming via Apple TV requires an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) with software 6.2 or later or an Apple TV (4th generation).

New from Apple: Apple AirPods

Costing £159 and available from late October, the Apple AirPods are wireless earbuds that let you listen to music only when they detect your ears and interact with Siri without wires. You can use one or both, and each has a 5 hour playtime before the battery runs down. A bundled case offers an additional 24-hour charge, and when both are flat you can simultaneously charge AirPods and AirPod case over Lightning.
