Apple hasn't said whether the event will be live streamed for media and fanboys alike to watch. But this doesn't mean it won't happen at the last minute. If Apple does decide to put up a live video stream at the last minute then it will be available at Apple events. You'll need a Mac with OS X 10.6 or later to gain access. You may also be able to get the live video on an iPhone or iPad running iOS 4.2 or later.
Apple TV owners will also be able to watch the iPhone launch event if Apple does stream it.
