How-Tos: How to disregard an IE 'false positive'
QUESTION You've previously recommended Unlocker, but Internet Explorer (IE) 8.0 won't let me download it. I managed to obtain the file using Google Chrome, but Security Essentials then blocked it and said it was a Trojan.

How-Tos: How to find lost iTunes files

How-Tos: How to get 150,000 Twitter followers
Despite sharing every banal aspect of my life in mind-numbing detail, I remain some way short of 150,000 Twitter followers. Even the mighty PC Advisor's informative feed remains a little shy. But UK design magazine Creative Review's Twitter feed has hit the magic number, off the back of a print circulation of 20,000 and a website that delivers around 1 million page impressions a month (compare that with PC Advisor's 4 million or so views, and you'll see just how impressive a stat that is).

How-Tos: How to run multiple security software products
I've been told that I shouldn't have more than one antivirus program running on my PC. Can I use both McAfee and Microsoft Antispyware (or another spyware application), for example? I want to be extra safe online, and I know that security suites are often good in some areas but not in all. Is there a list that will tell me what I can and can't use together?
-
How-Tos: How to choose who sees your photos on Facebook
I signed up for a Facebook account and uploaded some photos to my profile. I was soon contacted out of the blue by someone I didn’t want to hear from and who I didn’t know could see my photos and profile. I’ve been told that I should stop using Facebook, but will I still be able to see my photos if I cancel my account, and how can I make sure no one else can see them?
-
How-Tos: How to use touch to control your Windows 7 PC
I want to use touch to control my Windows 7 Home Premium PC. Is it as simple as plugging in a touchscreen display? I’d also like to view a 3D image – will I need a new graphics card?
-
How-Tos: How to roll back your PC's audio drivers
My Asus Eee 1008HA netbook runs Windows 7 and uses a Realtek HD Audio sound chip. It has shortcut buttons above the keyboard that are intended to control audio functions such as volume and mute. Following a recent driver update for the sound card, as advised by Driver Detective, they no longer function correctly.

-
How-Tos: How to use your TV as a monitor
I often use my TV as a second monitor for giving presentations. My Windows 7 laptop normally operates at a 1920x1080 resolution, but changes to 1360x768 when I connect the TV. The image on the TV is displayed full-screen, but it isn’t on my laptop. Adjusting the resolution doesn’t solve the problem.

How-Tos: How to reverse Registry Cleaner problems
I believe my overzealous use of Registry Mechanic and Hard Drive Washer 3.0 may have caused problems on my PC. When I plug a device into a USB port the Autoplay dialog contains no options. Also, URLs in my email are no longer clickable.
-
How-Tos: How to print your Outlook 2007 calendar
I’m having trouble printing a copy of my calendar (month view) in Outlook 2007. Outlook 2003 automatically wraps text for appointments that span across more than one line, letting you see all the information in the printout; Outlook 2007 does not. I can’t find a formatting option to correct this.
