Anyone had any experience of Virtual Disc Drives? I am about to install a new disc drive due to rough treatment by children! I have heard that Virtual Drives are able to store the total content of a games cd. This would be a great help, since my disc drive would be spared. Sounds a great idea, but I need to know if there are any drawbacks to this from experienced Forum members. geedad

Used to use Alcohol 52%. Burn an iso.file of the game disc then mount it on one of the virtual drives and install from there. Don't know about modern games as I believe they have very strong security systems on the disc. click here
