Seriously. I have a 5yr+ laptop with a scroll pad.I'm in my mid 70's both still working OK for their age. However I have noticed that this year when using the scroll pad for more than 15 minutes the skin on my right hand dries up becomes silky and won't operate the scroll pad. I have to soak my hand in warm water, use some sort of aftershave balm etc then leave it for a few minutes before I can use the scroll pad again. Question. Has anyone out there had the same experience or explanation? Regards Noels

Yes I get the same problem also sometimes my finger judders when I drag it across the pad with my Netbook, I end up plugging in a USB mouse. You can get these miniature mice that pack away in the bag and take up very little room.
By the way, I'm 61 so I don't think age has anything to do with it :)
