My daughter is home from uni and can no longer access the home wireless broadband. She has had virgin wireless broadband installed at her uni house since october. Before she went back to uni she had no problem accessing the home network. She also can't access other wifi networks any more

Yes. The virgin wireless manager seems to have overiden everything on the computer and our home network doesn't show up in the history. It also doesn't recognise any other networks, I know that they installed the virgin wireless with a disc.

The wireless router is working fine with the other laptops in the house. She's on XP and has Norton which both worked before she went back to uni and had virgin installed

Its not norton, its Virgin media.
Its resolved I rang Virgin media and all we had to do was exist the virgin wireless manager.
The home network then connected straight away.

if no good go to control panel-network connections and right click on your wireless connection and click repair.
