My p.bell easynote r1005 screen has gone dark it boots as normal and when a bright light is shon on the screen i can see my wallpaper and icons. Does this sound like the inverter or backlight(ccft? is that right?) Are these easy to replace (i have some tech skills) and does anyone know a reputable place to but? Many thanks!

First check the button, that operates when the lid is closed, is not stuck down.
