I use the AOL browser v9 to access the internet. However just recently after visiting different sites IE7 has then opened automatically at the page of a site I visited in AOL a short time before. If I try to close IE7 another screen opens with IE7 at the very same page. This happens over and over until 7 or 8 screens of IE7 are open then everything just stops and "Not Responding" appears. My only option then is a forced shutdown of my computer and a reboot. This doesn't happen everytime I access the internet but it is getting more frequent. My specs are Dell Dimension 2400. 40gb drive (18gb free) 785mb ram.
Anyone, any ideas. Thanx in advance

Thanks Smackheadz. I already had Superantispyware, Lavasoft Adaware & Norton IS2010 and they had found nothing. So I downloaded Malawarebytes and although it threw an error 732 when I tried to update I ran it nonetheless. It found a trojan.agent and 2 registry entries within Microsoft Security Center disabling firewall & Antivirus.
The system is runing faster already.
Thanks again
