As a person who worked for Vauxhall in luton for 36 years and now retired i welcome GM to retain ownership of GM Europe.GM have been through a sticky patch to say the least,But most of you may be unaware the GM in the USA use a vast amount of Opel technology there.A wise decicion if they retian control of GM Europe,as an aside i took part in over 36 motor shows from working on the production line to working in a technical department.

Further explanation of how GM's move has angered Germany in particular. On the other hand the Unite union boss has said it is "excellent news" for Vauxhall jobs. TC. click here
