flash drive wont work

Hi guys,
I can not save files on my flash drive any longer.it says
the disk canot be written to because it is write protected.please remove the write protection from the volume in drive\device\harddisk1\DR6.
When i try to format it gives me the same error.Can you guys help me out?

Some of these devices have a small switch when prevents them being written to. Check if your device has one and ensure it has not been set to locked.

How long you have the drive?

Maybe a good time for another one.

We got similar problem on our flash drives, switch for write protected on the card is not ON, and software diag show error. so get another new one then.
