help is anybody else having trouble logging to there hotmail account
all I get is incorrect password or email address on the web our in outlook express is

If you are/were using the free Hotmail, but have not used it for more than 30 days, I believe you will have to start again from scratch.

Yes, it's been happening for a few days now.
I find that on the 3rd try it works okay.
I'm using Outlook Express and POP3 hotmail.
I think Hotmail server is having a few probs.

Mine's been okay today. Fingers crossed :))

tried logging on the web site and it said if you can not log on to reset password and it will send you a email. can any body tell me how you can receive an email when you can not log on please !!

Aghhh, don't tell me you didn't set a different email up for them to send the 'reset password' email to?

You are supposed to have used a non-hotmail email address for them to send it to.

Did you click on the 'Forgot your password' just below the password box on your usual sign in page?


And please confirm that you have (when you first set up the hotmail email) given an alternate email address for them to send the reset password email to.

yes i did click forget my password. I can not rembember if I set up alternate email address as it over 10 years ago. if I did the isp has long since gone
