I have got a TESCO Value Webcam (TECH1).
It installed fine on (old) WIN 2000 lappy. (a good image considering the cost £5.49)
I cant seem to install it on WIN XP, tried everything I can think of..TIA..Alan

Try this small (free) piece of software. It worked for me when I lost all the software for my Aldi (£5) webcam.

Is the webcam set as the Default video device and also Enabled from the drop down menu in its Properties from Device Manager>Imaging Devices?

A ramble around google suggests that the camera is a Easy Snap Snake Eye WebCam manufactured by Pixart in Taiwan(sp?). See this thread from a linux forum click here using the info in post 3 on that forum may help you find the driver.

It works but you need to use the instal cd then go to device manager then hardware and look for the device there with the exclamation mark, right click and update driver.

It works on the mother in laws XP ??
It could be due to the MSN version, but the image is terrible, "Get what you pay for"
Its going back !!!!!
