I had spyware doctor downloaded on subscription. When sub expired recently I was given ,as a present a new,sealed, copy of SD 2008 purchased from Amazon UK.UNinstalled download copy and installed new from CD. OK except cannot get it activated despite frequent emails from pc tools support. Their advice does not help.
Problemi thatheirform to activate says code is already running,so cannot accept. Pc other instruction was to change my user name to my email address name which includes a full stop. This is also rejected as ilegal symbol. Can anyone help before madness sets in

You could always run click here to get rid of all traces of it.Then try and install again.
